Excellent stay recently at Fitzgeralds Hotel, Bundoran. The hotel was spotless and left us feeling very safe indeed in current climate. The food in the bistro was fabulous and we are hoping to return in September. Thank you for such wonderful hospitality.

We were a group of 4 and we had 2 rooms on the 1st floor ,both with a lovely sea view. Both rooms were spacious and comfortable but 1 bed in my room.was too hard for my friend but my bed was fine. I would have liked tea making facilities in our room but I took a travel kettle with me because I knew this was not provided which is very unusual. Breakfast was very good and our table was right at the window looking out at the sea which i loved . Lovely quiet seating areas in the reception area . We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon and hope to have a meal in the Bistro next time - the menu looked really good . Lovely quiet hotel in a great location.

This was our second visit to Fitzgeralds within a year. We really enjoyed our stay at this family run hotel. Food was excellent. Hotel is absolutely spotless. Plenty of hand sanitizers throughout. We willl hopefully return soon. Well done to John and his excellent team

We always stay here when in Bundoran, lovely family run hotel with a 5 star bistro ran efficiently by John, whom is very knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairing. The food there is always top notch. Rooms are spacious, clean and the breakfast cooked to order.

my stay exceeded my expectations! If there was a 6 for staff service and friendliness I would give it! The meals were a delight in a lovely relaxed environment. To have secure parking with my car stuffed for the onward journey was a great relief! Well done and thank you!

We had an absolute fantastic stay at this hotel, the staff were so helpful, we had to leave hotel early on the first morning of our stay and they organised to have our choice of breakfast prepared for us before we left. We ate dinner in the restaurant on both nights, the food was cooked to perfection and the atmosphere in the restaurant was so nice as well. Will definitely stay at this hotel when we visit Bundoran again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fitzgeralds hotel. I was travelling with my father who is in his eighties. The hotel was perfect for him,with lift access to the bedroom,and magnificent sea views. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The family who run the hotel were really kind, and went out of their way to help my father. The hotel is beautifully furnished and has lovely artwork. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a peaceful, pleasant holiday.

First impressions on entering the hotel are how friendly the staff are! You are brought up to your room rather than given directions. We had a family room at the front of the hotel, with an ocean view. There were lots of surfers out that evening so it was a great viewing point. The room was a good size, but the beds let it down. They really weren't comfortable at all, and none of us got a lot of sleep as a result. We were surprised to find that many of the restaurants in Bundoran don't open on Mondays or Tuesdays! A real shame as we had been looking forward to an Indian meal that evening after a long drive but both restaurants were closed. Unfortunately there was no food available at the hotel in the evenings at this time of year (April) either. Breakfast was a la carte rather than buffet style, and they had gluten free muesli and gluten free bread available to order (I'm coeliac). The kids would have preferred a breakfast buffet where they could help themselves, but it's a small hotel and space is probably too tight to offer this. However the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It would have been a good experience overall had it not been for the beds, but that would be enough to prevent us from returning. On the other hand a relative stayed in a different room the same night and his bed was comfortable. Luck of the draw perhaps.

Lovely hotel spotlessly clean, great breakfast so fresh and nice would go back just for breakfast. Loved the sitting area at front of hotel so relaxing great comfy chairs amazing furniture. Will definitely go back for another stay. Close to everything.

Another great stay. Stayed in a very large room with great views and a shower over the bath. Would have preferred a walk in shower like some of the other rooms. I like the sit down breakfast but miss the fruit selection of some buffet style hotels. Dinner was excellent as usual. Thank you and see you again

I enjoyed my short visit to Fitzgerald's Hotel earlier this month - my first visit and I'm sure that it won't be my last. Courtesy, good service, clean rooms, super breakfasts and great location are all great memories. It is a good base for seeing Southern Donegal and North Sligo. Great venue

We have been staying at this hotel for many years. This is an excellent hotel, family run and always make u so welcome. Accommodation, food and bistro is fab. Breakfasts served to table which is fab no buffet in sight. Will be staying again and would recommend to anyone

Very quiet which suited our needs. Would have preferred to have had tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. It was nice to have breakfast served to us, rather than the normal buffet service found in most hotels. Parking facilities were a bit tight for larger cars.

Hi, Thank you for a peaceful relaxed break. I would have liked the tea and coffee facility in the room. The cardboard cups provided seem to have a damp smell / taste off them. they weren't great to carry upstairs either. The room and ensuite were comfy and spacious but the bed was too hard; a solid base with a very thin mattress was not comfortable and was really stiff and sore on wakening in the morning. Breakfast was lovely thank you. Please accept my comments as constructive and would really love to return if these amendments

Got a great sleep in this hotel. And the breakfast was lovely all served at the table. Old world style giving the essences of comfort to it's guests. Staff here really care for you.

Room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Only 2 minor issues - breakfast is a bit late starting at 8.30am, and it's rare these days for tea/coffee making facilities not to be available in the rooms.

It was our first family mini-vacation since we have our baby. We were impressed by the staff service and cleanliness. It maid our holiday even more enjoyable. Will definitely book again if we return to Bundoran.

Fitzgerald s has a homey feel - the hosts were welcoming, the rooms were neat and spacious, the view from our room was picturesque, and the restaurant was quaint with excellent food. It suggest that Fitzgerald s is a Bundoran gem.

Very nice great Twin-room with phantastic view over the atlantic. Big Flat-TV with 10 programs, very good beds and no noise in the house! Best parking (overnight closed) and last but not least: a very nice bar in the house with a very friendly John!
